RIAPP is excited to announce our Fall 2026 psychodynamic book club. This club will provide an opportunity to explore and contemplate psychoanalytic ideas, share unique perspectives, self-reflect, and build community with other like-minded RIAPP members. While RIAPP is hosting the club, we see it as a co-constructed space rather than one led or facilitated by a single individual. 

For this season, we will be reading Racial Melancholia, Racial Dissociation: On the Social and Psychic Lives of Asian Americans (2018) by David L. Eng and Shinhee Han.

The book club will meet once a month on the following 3 Wednesdays from 7:30-9:00 PM: October 21st, November 18th, and December 16th. We ask that those who sign up commit to attending all three meetings. Meetings will be held in person at alternating locations in Providence. Please note, you must be a 2026-2027 RIAPP member to participate (you can register for RIAPP membership here: https://www.riapp.org/joinriapp).
