Common Dynamics & Sexual Narratives in No Sex Relationships, by Suzanne Iasenza, PhD

Stay tuned for more information about this virtual lecture.

When couples haven’t had sex in a long time they often feel hopeless and therapists often feel unsure how to help them. This presentation will explore how to shift couples from a state of sexual disconnection to a process of sexual discovery. We will discuss how to understand common dynamics and identify and transform sexual narratives that contribute to sexual avoidance. This includes how to conduct a culturally sensitive relational sexual history to develop sexual counter-narratives that enhance sexual connection.
